I live more than 30 miles away from the Caravan of Love’s base.  Can you still come to my event?

The Caravan of Love mainly operates within 30 miles of her base in the Peak District.  This covers Greater Manchester, Cheshire and some of Derbyshire.  But if your event is further away, please do get in touch.  We can take a look at your location and make a decision.  Additional mileage costs will be charged at £1 per mile (one way) to cover the costs of travel and towing.

Where can the Caravan of Love be located at my venue?

Careful consideration needs to be given to the siting of the Caravan of Love at your venue and this can be discussed and agreed well in advance of the event.  Vehicle access is required to tow her to the location.  She can be positioned on grass or on hard-standing, even inside a barn.  No power socket is necessary as she can operate off her own battery, although a power socket within 30m is preferable so she can have a full array of outdoor lighting.

How long will the Caravan of Love be at my wedding?

For the full Wedding Package, the Caravan of Love will come and set up in plenty of time before your guests arrive for the wedding reception.  The Caravan will then remain locked and the exterior of the caravan can be used for informal photographs.  The photo booth doors will then open for 3 hours of photo booth fun.  A typical timetable might be as follows:  2pm arrive and set up. 3pm reception commences.  4-5pm photo booth opens for an hour before wedding breakfast.  8-10pm photo booth reopens after the speeches.  10pm pack up and depart.  Timings can be tailor made to suit your specific wedding plans.  Additional hours are available at a fee of £120 per hour.

Do I need to provide my own props?

The Caravan of Love will come to your event with plenty of vintage and fun props.  If you have any specific requests, please let us know and we will see what we can come up with.  You are also welcome to bring any personal props along too.

How many people can have their photo taken at one time?

Due to her age and petite size, the number of people allowed in the Caravan at any one time is limited to 5.  However, everyone is encouraged to make as many trips to the photo booth as they wish.

Are the photos good quality?

The photos are taken on an Ipad Pro 2017 and printed within a minute or two on a Canon dye-sublimation printer which is instantly touch dry and ready to handle.  Lighting in the Caravan of Love is also set to optimise good picture quality.

Do we get to keep a copy of all the images?

Each photo strip is printed out in double.  The idea is that your guests can keep one strip and the other strip is stuck into the bespoke guestbook provided by the Caravan of Love, along with their personal message.  The photo strip are stored on a private online gallery for you to access and use as you wish after your wedding.

Do you have insurance to cover accidental damage or injury?

Yes! The Caravan of Love has her own public liability insurance and accidental damage insurance.  However, any damage that occurs through misuse or misbehaviour of guests will be charged to the hirer.  A £200 refundable damage deposit is to be paid before hire (see Payment and Terms of Hire).
